This is  the first of a series of flower vases designed around specific species of flowers. This vase was designed around the blue thistle. (unfortunately I couldn’t find blue thistle in the flower shop to fill the vase with, hopefully I will have better luck running across some growing wild this summer) The vase is made from a composite of plaster and plastic resin.
